BMIS is an IB World School offering PYP, MYP (Candidate Status) and Diploma Programmes to our students across the age range from 5 – 18 years. We are fully accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). We recognise that for new and prospective parents, the decision to move schools is a difficult one, particularly if this also involves a move to a new city, country or continent. The school was successfully reaccredited in December 2012, and the Visiting Team had several interesting observations:
“The actions of the members of the school community in the classrooms, in the after school programs, in the after school programs and across the many daily social interactions bear witness to the effort to provide a learning environment that empowers students to evolve into confident, creative, lifelong learners.”
“The student body and the faculty represent multiple nationalities. This representation provides the opportunity for the school to integrate themes of internationalism and interculturalism within the daily work of the school.”
– Christine McGrath, Team Chair, November 2012.
