We are currently fully staffed for the academic year 2018-19.

Occasionally, although infrequently, we have vacancies arising during the year, and we invite interested teachers to submit their up to date CV and application letter, complete with a recent photograph, to recruit@bmis.mw

BMIS actively encourages Malawian nationals to apply as well as international teachers and we will be attending some of the Search Associates recruitment fairs in Q1 of 2019.

We will be continually reviewing and looking to shortlist and interview suitable candidates.  Please note that BMIS is aligned with the recommendations of the International Task Force on Child Protection, and we hold ourselves to a high standard of effective recruiting practices with specific attention to child protection. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted should we wish to follow up with references or interviews.  We seek candidates with appropriate and recognized teaching qualifications and a track record of excellence in teaching, preferably in international school settings.  As an IB school, which is fully accredited by CIS and NEASC, we will be looking for dynamic teachers with international perspectives and preference will be given to those teachers with relevant IB training and experience.  Whilst IB teachers are obviously preferred, we do offer training to suitable candidates, although they must be conversant and in alignment with the IB philosophies and pedagogy.
