The Mission Statement: The BMIS Mission Statement was revised and adapted in 2011-12 by a working party comprised of teachers, students, parents, board members and leadership.
“BMIS educates and inspires students to value integrity, cultural diversity, and the pursuit of well-being and excellence. Our school fosters an environment which empowers students to become creative, confident lifelong learners ready to take action in the local and global communities.”
The working party also felt that a school motto would be valuable. The following BMIS acronym was felt to be very easy to remember by all members of the school community which succinctly outlines our key values.

School Aims
Bishop Mackenzie International School is committed to the development of responsible, confident, compassionate and independent citizens of society. Teachers, students and parents will work together to ensure that all students:
